Cards And Reds Fight
What's a World Cup without controversy? The 2010 World Cup had its moments; some of them had little to do with the players but the men in the middle. Midway through the group stage, one could easily identify some of the card-happy referees at the tournament. Referees issued a few red cards in the early stages of the World Cup - as early as the second match. Some offences, like Nigeria's Sani Kaita outrageous swipe against Greece, deserved red cards. On other occasions, the referee seemed card-happy.
The T.N.T. followed by Intuition Effect - The trick starts out with two cards - one red and one black. They are put face down on top of the deck, and the deck is cut several times. After cutting the deck the cards are separated into two different piles. The first card on top goes to Pile one, the next card goes to Pile two, and this is repeated until all the cards are separated. Each of the two piles is shuffled and cut. The two piles are then spread in front of the spectator. One pile has only red cards and the one black card that was chosen. The other pile has only black cards and the one red card that was chosen in the beginning. This trick gets the crowd every time.
Brides may select red wedding invitation kits instead for their cards. The kits can be purchased and come ready with red cards and red inserts for your words, envelopes and if your require ribbons, bows or glitter. You need to supply your own glue sticks or tubes. A straight forward invite would be to take a plain red card and then insert another red card onto the top of the plain card. You would need to make this card smaller in size which when placed on top of the bottom card looks like a border is around the edge. The wedding words can either be printed or written in black as a contrast.
